Task: Distribution of stamped parts onto boxes
Steel parts are produced in large quantities from a stamping machine (approx. 400 parts per minute).
The parts are to be distributed among three wire mesh boxes arranged parallel to each other.
Rejected parts should be placed in a separate box.
The control should be carried out by a control system already provided by the customer.
Solution: Conveyor belt with diverters
A Multi-Tech belt conveyor type GL-AM 010 with three pneumatically operated diverters via rotary cylinders.
Hardened baffle plate at the transfer point from the stamping machine
Inner sides of the guide profiles are lined with stainless steel (joint-free)
Durable PU belt (MTF belt no. 14) for low-friction push-off drive
Each diverter has hardened steel supports for parts removal with a sharp-edged end strip at the transition to the belt (to prevent parts from jamming).
Stainless steel guide plates and transfer connections
Acknowledge button at each drop-off station
Wiring of all connections (motor, pneumatics, sensors, push buttons) to a terminal box as an interface to the existing on-site control system.
