L-shaped conveyors with a longer flat belt, combined with a low feeding height, are often equipped with an underframe type TB 110. In this case, the flat belt is mounted within the underframe, and the steep belt is supported by a gas pressure spring, in order to ensure an easy angle adjustment.
In this version, the angled conveyor is used e.g. as chip conveyor in tooling machines, when the conveyor has to be integrated into the frame of the machine. More application cases are recycling, disposal of paper cuts or in transporting stamping waste into a container.
In addition, this conveyor type is used in injection moulding machines, with low shaft height or in combination with separating diverters which are mounted underneath the tool and thus are restricting the available space.
