MTF Technik - Belt Conveyor Type NL-HM 140

L-shaped conveyor NL-HM 140 in the food industry for conveying herbs and spices into a filling line.

The underframe HM 140 is not only used with straight deposit conveyors, but also with larger angled conveyors. Here often a closed underframe is no longer feasible due to the size and/or a large height adjustment range is necessary.

In this case it is used for a negatively angled conveyor type NL-HM 140, which serves as a filling conveyor at a filling machine for food (herbs and spices).

The corrugated edges prevent these small parts from getting stuck between belt and lateral guidance and that the parts end up in the inside of the conveyor. In the filling area at the flat belt the corrugated edgets are covered with plates in order to place the spices exactly in the center of the belt, between the corrugated edges.

The underframe of this large conveyor is stabilised with special diagonal and longitudinal struts.

Highlights

The underframe HM 140 is predominantly used with larger angled belt conveyors which have to be equipped with multiple supports for best stability. The supports can be mounted laterally at the frame and can be moved along the profile grooves. Longitudinal, crosswise and diagonal struts (optional) grant for an enormously stable construction, even with heavy loads.

  • Extra stable underframe for heavy load or large frame heights
  • Flexible arrangement of struts, e.g., to avoid interfering edges
  • Height adjustment alng the whole length of profile
  • Continuously variable angle between 0° and 60°
