Rotary Table with Spiral Guidance

Task: Buffering of steel parts for cooling down

Steel parts have to be buffered after a grinding process in order to cool down before assembly
The buffering process has to follow the FIFO-principle
180 parts should be buffered at a minimum space

Solution: Rotary accumulation table with spiral

Rotary table equipped with a stainless steel spiral
Multiplex turntable with polyester coating for minimum friction, suitable for the accumulation mode
The parts are placed in the center area and then move to the outer spiral edge by table rotation
At the end of the spiral a pivotable stop bar is used to accumulate the parts. By opening the bar, the parts can be taken off the system
