Conveyor System with Pneumatic Tilting

Task: Transporting and depositing film packs

Sliced aluminium foil packets with a weight of max 200kg shall be transported out of a slicing machine and being tilted to a pallet rack.
Foil packets with max. 1,850mm length and max. 300mm diameter
Cycle time approx. 1.5 minutes
Protection system on site.

Solution: Steep belt conveyor with tiltable deposit conveyor

An inclined GL-conveyor with an adhesive belt feeds the foil packets upwards and transfers them on to 2 parallel horizontal GL conveyors which can be tilted pneumatically.
At the end of these conveyors a restriction bar including sensors is mounted to detect whether the packets arrived at the end.
In that case the GL conveyors swivel into a vertical position and the packet falls into the applied pallet rack.
