Floor Buffer for Plastic Parts (Packaging)

Task: Cooling and filling of plastic parts into cartons

To cool down plastic parts directly after injection moulding and then to fill in boxes automatically
To count the number of units per box by means of a load cell
To feed and discharge the boxes automatically to ensure an operation without manpower

Solution: Conveyor with cooling tunnel and floor buffer

Belt conveyor type NL-LD 120 with special hopper and "cooling tunnel"
The conveyor is clocked by the central control in order to extend the staying time on the conveyor for maximum cooling
Multi-Tech Lift station on two levels with integrated load cell on the lift arm
Two levels with buffer conveyors - one for empty, one for filled boxes
The whole facility incl. load cell is operated by a Siemens S7 control
