Double Track Conveyor

Task: Parallel conveying of different plastic parts

Plastic flower pots in different sizes should be placed by a robot on a conveyor and transported out of the safety guard
The pots do not have an even surface at the bottom but a centric injection point which has to be removed later
The stacking position and the end of the conveyor has to be controlled

Solution: Double-track conveyor belt with light barriers and belt clearing button

Two straight GL-conveyors, linked with a clutch, mounted on one carriage
One drive unit for both conveyors (flange drive)
Distance between conveyors 90mm
Light sensors to control stacking position and end of conveyor
Clearance button and emergency switch at the end of the conveyor (operator side)
Central switching cabinet underneath the conveyor body with interface
