This reject chute is mounted across the axis, below the tool of a Fanuc Roboshot S-2000i 100B. The good parts are guided to the non-operating side of the machine, via the mounted slide. The sprues fall vertically downwards into a separate box.
The separation chute is designed in low profile with minimum height, in order to have a maximum discharge height for the customers' collecting boxes.
The reject chute is controlled by a unidirectional pneumatic valve with return springs. In automatic operation, the pneumatic valve is controlled permanently. In case of parameter deviations, power failure, disturbances etc. the valve switches automatically and conducts the parts into the provided rejects container.
