The negatively angled Multi-Tech hinge belt conveyors type NVF-LD 120 are assembled from a comprehensive modular system and can thus be individually and optimally adapted to the respective task.
The medium-sized, L-shaped, angled hinge belt conveyors with a belt length of up to 3,000 mm are often equipped with a base frame type LD 120. This consists of a welded base frame on which two vertical and two rotatable aluminum profiles are mounted, serving as supports for the conveyor belt. The profiles are attached to the belt frame with pivot points in the lateral grooves. This underframe design offers great stability and allows for the mounting of heavier hinged belt conveyors or additional attachments. The lower flat belt section usually hangs freely and can thus be lowered to floor level or inserted into machine shafts while suspended. Longer flat belts are supported by additional belt supports. Steel hinged belt conveyors of the NVF-LD 120 type are often used as machine discharge belts, as feed belts for material into downstream processes, or as linking belts between workstations. The conveyor belt frame consists of aluminum profiles specially developed by MTF Technik, which are optimized for accommodating the hinge plates. A great deal of expertise is evident in the details to ensure optimal functionality and stability. The robust profiles each feature a groove on the side and below the conveyor belt, which can be used to attach subframes, drive units, sensors, and other components. This eliminates the need for time-consuming drilling or welding and ensures maximum flexibility. The conveying angle is optionally 30°, 45°, 60°, or 75°. The NVF-LD 120 hinge plate belts have a pitch of 38.1 mm and are available in either steel or stainless steel. The surface of the individual hinge plate elements is smooth as standard, but can also be textured, perforated, slotted or textured and perforated depending on the application. For optimal sealing of the conveyor belt, the belts are equipped as standard with a moving side flange that runs behind the side cover plates and provides additional sealing. The belts can be fitted with drive lugs in various designs to achieve optimal conveying results. Spring tensioners are integrated into the side profiles to keep the hinge plate belt under sufficient tension at all times, thus reducing adjustment and maintenance requirements. The Multi-Tech hinge belt conveyors of type NVF-LD 120 are equipped as standard with powerful flange drives, which can be adapted to the specific application with different motor outputs, gear ratios, and controls. The support task will be adapted.
